Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Cameron Carter-Vickers hasn’t traveled with the team after they landed in Germany on Tuesday evening.
The Australian also confirmed Liel Abada hasn’t traveled, while he didn’t give the reason behind his absence, it’s thought it’s due to religious reasons.
Another player who hasn’t made the flight is Aaron Mooy, the midfielder picked up a knock this week and won’t be risked.
We all know Carl Starfelt is still out with a longer term injury. The Swede isn’t expected back until the end of October at the earliest.
Celtic have a massive task on their hands, made harder without CCV and Abada.
It’s going to take a big effort for the bhoys to get a result in Germany. Stephen Welsh and Moritz Jenz will have to be at their best to fend off an impressive attacking line.
