Celtic’s Thumping 4-0 Glasgow Derby Win Ignored by Top Newspaper

The Guardian have wildly misreported or ignored one of Celtic’s biggest wins of this season in one of their latest articles.

Champions League match day three is upon us with both Glasgow clubs in big matches. The Guardian were specifically looking at the Liverpool vs Rangers game on Tuesday night.

Their article was based around the Ibrox club being brilliant and ‘UNDEFEATED’ in the league while being handed two major doings in Europe.

There’s only one problem with that, they’re not unbeaten in the league, are they?

Celtic are two points ahead in the league at present thanks to a 4-0 thumping they handed out to Giovanni van Bronkhorst’s men back in September. The game was one sided, the Hoops dominated proceedings and could’ve scored more on the day.

The Guardian, who have clearly not done their due diligence [looked at the SPFL league table] when they structured an article around that particular bit of fake news.

We all make mistakes, but this is pretty poor from the paper.

It shows again the lack of any sort of knowledge of the Scottish game and the poor attempts to cover it when they do write about it.
