Three Talking Points As Ten Men Return to Winning Ways

CELTIC returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Motherwell, which really should’ve and could’ve been much more.

Hitting the woodwork a couple times, squandering some chances and the Linesman’s flag all saw Celtic fighting for a goal to push themselves ahead.

A second half goal from Reo Hatate saw Celtic take the lead again, after Kyogo opened the scoring only for it to be cancelled out by a Juranovic own goal.

CalMac Takes One For The Team

A slack pass from Hatate saw Motherwell race through the Celtic back line and found themselves with a one on one situation. However, Callum McGregor took one for the team and took the opponent out outside of the box and received his matching orders as a result. His selfless actions show why he’s the captain of Celtic.

Turnbull off the Boil

David Turnbull was poor when he came on again today. Over the past few matches, the Scotland international has failed to impress, with Matt O’Riley nailing down the attacking midfield role.

Abilgaard Makes his Debut

Oliver Abildgaard made his Celtic debut this afternoon, coming on in the 89th minute. Fans didn’t get to see too much of the player, but we likely will over the next few weeks, with Callum McGregor suspended.
