ANGE POSTECOGLOU has made a subtle dig at the Scottish Media in his pre-match press conference for Saturday’s match against Motherwell.
We’ve all voiced our frustrations with the stories published from some sites. They’ve went from mocking Ange’s appointment to linking him to jobs that aren’t even available yet.
In the press conference which CeltsAreHere.com attended, Ange was asked if his interviews he’s participated in down under over the past few years has given him a different perspective on his success in Scotland, he replied;
“Like I said, I’ve got a fair understanding, people are following the journey, they are taking great pride in the progress that the football club makes. I guess they feel an attachment to the football club because of that, but, media is media mate, round the world. I’ll leave it at that.”
It was great to hear Ange in the interviews in Australia; he came across much more relaxed and was willing to open up on his experiences at Celtic so far. They were fascinating to listen to.
In Scotland, we don’t get to see this side of Ange. We get the side of him that’s stuck infant of the media answering the same questions, but when a fan media outlet poses a question to the manager, they receive a detailed answer.
