ANGE POSTECOGLOU was intensively linked to the Brighton job by the Scottish media, despite no solid source stating he was linked to the position.
Even after a four-man shortlist for the job was being circulated by the English media, with Ange Postecoglou not on the list, he was still linked to the job. It’s almost as if some were trying to manifest an exit for the Celtic manager.
These links will finally come to an end, for now. The Seagulls have confirmed the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi, a former Shakhtar Donetsk manager who left the job in the summer.

Celtic fans knew there was nothing behind the reports coming out of Scotland, which had pundits giving their opinions. Things can settle down now, and the manager can focus on the task at hand.
Postecoglou is keen to keep taking strides forward this season; he’ll want to progress in Europe and win the Scottish Cup after falling to defeat in the semi-final last season. The Aussie will also be pushing to retain last season’s titles, defending their champions status.
