Celtic are set to unveil Oliver Abildgaard ahead of tonight’s deadline, Mikey Johnston is in Portugal to seal a loan move to Vitoria Guimaraes but there’s no movement on James McCarthy at this point despite loan interest.
That’s the latest up date from in the know Mark Hendry as we head towards the deadline.

Celtic have had a too window with a defensive midfielder the final position many fans wanted to see filled.
Oliver coming into Celtic provides cover and something a bit different in the defensive midfielder area. The Dane is a 6ft 4” aggressive DM who likes to marshal the middle of the park.
Given Oliver hasn’t played in three months, the player will likely have to get up to speed before being considered for the first team.
Celtic have told James McCarthy he can head out on loan, and there could be last minute movement, but nothing as of yet.
