Former Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo has scored his first goal in the English Championship for Watford after his £5m move this summer.
Bayo was signed by Brendan Rodgers under the advice of former Celtic coach Kolo Toure. Not long after the striker came in the door, Rodgers and Kolo were off to Leicester.

Due to injury and being behind Edouard and Griffiths in the pecking order, Bayo couldn’t make the breakthrough.
Now at Watford, he’ll be looking to make his second stint in the UK much more enjoyable.
Here is the striker finishing from close range to grab all three points for his new side.
The game finished Watford 2-1 Middlesbrough.
Teemu Pukki was another player who didn’t cut it at Celtic before ending up in the English Championship. The Finnish striker came to life and was prolific for the canaries in his first couple of seasons. Vakoun Bayo will be hoping for a similar story!
