Yosuke Ideguchi Update

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has confirmed that the squad made it through last week with no injuries, meaning it will be a similar team that faces Dundee United that played on Sunday.

The Celtic boss also confirmed that Yosuke Ideguchi has returned to training after receiving stitches on his leg. The midfielder has had an unlucky time at Celtic so far, spending the majority of the first few months of his Celtic career on the sidelines.

Ange Postecoglu confirmed the midfielder’s return and a clean bill of health to Celtic TV. Asked if there were any injuries, Ange responded;

“No, not at this stage. Everyone’s trained. Everyone got through last week okay, everyone got out of it. Guchi is back training with the group, probably not this week. We haven’t got anyone missing at the moment.”

He’ll be hoping his fortunes turn; however, he’ll be under no illusions. Since pre-season, Ange Postecoglou has added some players to the middle of the pitch, with Aaron Mooy penning a deal at Celtic Park.

He’ll have to train extra hard to show his manager why he deserves a place in the matchday squad.

The midfield is a highly contested area of the Celtic team, with only three places available from the start.
