It’s last season’s banter come to life!
Today the SPFL captains met Cinch spokesperson Rylan Clark ahead of the new season and that meant Callum McGregor was on hand to get a photo with the former reality tv star.

Towards the end of last season, there were cardboard cut outs of Rylan in Scottish football stadiums. The TV personality hounded on social media and asked to say the famous catchphrase ‘cinched it’ when Celtic won the league.
The SPFL’s deal with the Cinch hit major heights last season. It was no small part down to the Ibrox club actually boycotting the league sponsors.
They claimed a conflict of interest with their own sponsors and even went as far as using sticky tape to cover cinch logos for interviews. It had the reverse effect of what they were trying to do.
Some may know this as ‘The Streisand effect’ – a phenomenon that occurs when an attempt to hide, remove, or censor information has the unintended consequence of increasing awareness of that information.
The Ibrox club will not be part of the deal going forward which means Tav-pen didn’t get to meet the main man.
The photoshoot comes days before we get back to Cinch SPFL action. The Hoops begin their title defence on Sunday against Aberdeen.
The start of a new season is always exciting. We can’t wait to see the team in competitive action once again.
