Van Bronkhorst Praises Celtic

Celtic won the league in fine fashion last season, with the emphatic derby wins effectively winning Celtic the league.

The 3-0 home derby win gave Celtic the belief that they could storm on and win the league, with the comeback at Ibrox extending the Hoops’ lead at the top, moving them into touching distance of clinching the league title.

When Van Bronkhorst arrived in Govan, his team had a six-point lead. Celtic’s determination mixed with Ange’s message “don’t stop”, they fought back and closed the gap. Soon, Celtic won the league four points clear.

The Ibrox boss admitted Celtic was the better team but is determined to fight back next season. He said; [Sky Sports]

“Well we have to be up for it. They were champions last year. Of course when you are first at the end of the season, you deserve the championship. So all credit to them.

“But it’s a new season ahead. We are here to be successful for this club. We have to be very consistent throughout the whole season especially of course in the league.

“The margin I think is very close and the margin for errors can’t be very big. So we have to be ready and we’re looking ahead to the challenge.”

Celtic Too Strong for The Rangers?

Ange Postecoglou is building a super squad. It’s simply too strong for The Rangers to compete with.

With the guaranteed windfall Celtic will receive, it’s allowed Ange to spend more to create the squad he wants. the Rangers simply can’t keep up, and they’ve resulted in handing out contract extensions to last year’s losing team while Ange is taking strides forward.

There will be more incoming in the East End, adding more strength and quality to Celtic’s squad.
