Celtic’s Next 24 Hours

Celtic will fly out to Austria on Monday with pretty much their full squad in toe.

The bhoys were back in Lennoxtown on June 27th but a lot of players were missing due to the international games they played throughout the summer. Celtic gave those players an extra week off to recover and have a rest before bringing them back into the fold.

The bhoys in green will fly out to Austria on Monday to take part in a very intense training camp, followed by three fixtures in the next ten days before heading back to the UK.

This is where the season really begins. Ange and his coaching staff will get the champions together and plot the path ahead for this season.

We have the defence of our SPFL title coming up and our reintroduction to the Champions League group stages in September.

New bhoys Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei will be part of the squad in Austria and they will also be joined by permanent bhoys Jota and CCV who both signed on with the club after very successful loan spells.

The first game of the season will be against Weiner Viktoria, fans will be able to watch the game live on Celtic TV.

It’s exciting times for the bhoys and the support. We can’t wait for the new season to get started.
