BT Sports have lost the rights for the Champions League after gaining them in 2015.

It’ll save fans some money, with a Prime subscription costing £7.99 a month or £79 a year, and includes next-day delivery for free on Amazon. When compared to a BT Sports subscription, it’s £16 a month for the sports package.

It’s great news for fans who live in the UK, able to watch their team’s Champions League highlights for no extra cost. The analysis of the game should hopefully make it a better watch than the YouTube videos that BT Sport publishes after the matches.

The European-themed Match of the Day will be aired on the Wednesday of every match week at 10 pm.
