The player has also made 8 international appearances for Guinea-Bissau.

Ange wants a controlling midfielder, especially for Europe, so that Callum McGregor can push further up the field on European nights.

Callum has been the man who has sat in the holding role, taking the ball from defence and beginning our attacks. There’s nobody really in our squad who look like they can do a similar job.

It’s not clear who will be the man to come in and attempt to do that job, but we can be pretty sure there will be a player coming into the club this summer with the position in mind.
