According to reports, Christopher Jullien held crunch talks with his representatives in Paris over his immediate future.
The Frenchman’s return from injury last season wasn’t the fairytale Chris thought it would be. A cameo against Raith Rovers was all the game time he was afforded with both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt in front of the Neil Lennon signing.
There have been rumours Celtic will look to offload Jullien this summer, but RecordSport has revealed tonight Chris has told Ange Postecoglou and Celtic he’s staying put and wants to fight for his place
Jullien is now in the final year of his Celtic deal – in January, he’ll be able to sign a pre-contract with any club who wants to offer him a deal.

Celtic might still try and force the issue if Ange doesn’t have any plans for the 29-year-old. The Hoops paid a large fee to sign Chris from Toulouse. The centre-back has been a part of some massive moments for the bhoys in green over the years. Could he offer an alternative for the Bhoys next season?
