CELTIC has announced that goalkeeper Joe Hart will wear a new number next season.

We can confirm today that Joe Hart will be wearing the No. 1 jersey for the coming season.

Having worn the number 15 throughout his debut season, the Englishman will now wear the number 1.
Vasilis Barkas previously occupied Joe’s new number, but after his loan to Utrecht was confirmed, the number became available.
The keeper has been outstanding this season, pulling off some point-winning saves.
He has proven his doubters wrong with his on-field performances and off-field actions. Since arriving at Celtic, he has acted like every Celtic fan would expect but always takes it further.
He’s given his shirt to young fans, taking photos of young fans with their Celtic heroes, and has sent get well soon messages to supporters. He’s also been top-class with fellow goalies, always willing to chat with them and give them advice.
With his experiences, Hart effectively led the team in their title triumph season, with many players applauding the player’s brilliant attitude.
