Celtic in Advanced Talks with Cameron Carter-Vickers – Report

Celtic are said to be in advanced talks with Cameron Carter-Vickers to secure his permanent future, American publication SBI reports.

The American has previously been linked to several Premiership clubs. However, this doesn’t look to faze Celtic as they push for a permanent deal for the player.

The fee is said to rise to £10 million from £6 million. The defender has shown his worth, growing game by game at Celtic.

Building a great partnership with Starfelt at the back, Carter-Vickers is part of the best defensive record in the league. He hasn’t shied away at the other end, scoring some crucial goals in his Celtic career.

Celtic are desperate to get this deal over the line. Having been in discussions since January, the Parkhead club look to have made a breakthrough in the negotiations.

Hopefully, Celtic can get this deal over the line. With the potential to play in the Champions League group stage next season, having the player in the backline will be a massive boost for the club.
