Strachan Plays Out Nightmare Broony Scenario for Ibrox Support

The man who brought Scott Brown to Celtic all those years ago has been having his say as the midfielder brings the curtain down on his career.

Gordon Strachan signed Scott for Celtic back in 2007 and the rest is pretty much history. Coming in as a young lad, Scott would grow into his Celtic jersey and eventually become a legendary captain – helping lead the Hoops to a historic quadruple treble.

The former Celtic and Scotland manager made a cheeky comment about Scott even helping out the hoops while playing for Aberdeen.

Scott played in the two games Aberdeen took points off the Glasgow side and even scored at Ibrox to contribute to them dropping points.

Strachan is always good for a wind-up, but his joke could actually play out to be true:

Quoted by the Daily Record, Gordon said: “It will be interesting to see what Scott does from here but if you look back at his career there were some great goals, great passes, great tackles. Even this season at Aberdeen he scored that diving header at Ibrox against Rangers. So he’s still helping even now by taking two points off Rangers!

“Can you just imagine ifCelticend up winning this title by just one point? He’s the guy who keeps on giving”.

Celtic are three points clear at the top of the SPFL right now. A rebuilding season has turned into a title race and with eight games to go, the bhoys have a good chance of lifting the league title.

What if Scott’s goal was that vital? Heads would explode.
