CELTIC haven’t made any announcements about it, but it appears the Glasgow Derby between the B sides in the Glasgow Cup will be played at Celtic Park.
Usually, the B side plays their games out of the penny Car Stadium but this one is pencilled in for Paradise on Tuesday, April 12th.
Until Celtic properly confirm things, we’d air on the side of caution but it may very well be going ahead in the East end of Glasgow. [Celtic Fixtures].
It would be interesting to see if Celtic will allow spectators into the event – there is always a lot of interest in the derby even at B team level.
Policing these things could be a major stumbling block, but we’ll wait and see.
The women have already been announced for a home game at the end of March against Hibernian. It will be the first time they have played at Celtic Park since the Glasgow Derby last season when lockdown rules prohibited fans.
