A video showing Kyogo trackside supporting his teammates before the game on Thursday night has got fans talking about the striker once again.
Kyogo hasn’t played for Celtic this year yet. Going down and exacerbating an injury against St Johnstone during the final game of 2021 has left the Japanese frontman on the sidelines.
He always wants to be involved and support his teammates whenever possible. That’s why it’s not the first time we’ve witnessed Kyogo coming trackside when he’s not been fit to play.
His movement, pace and goals were missed badly on Thursday evening. To be fair to the players, before the defeat to Bodo, they were handling Kyogo’s absence very well.
It was the first loss of 2022 for the bhoys in green and we have to bounce back quickly.
Ange has not delivered any timescale for Kyogo’s return but we’re hoping it’s sooner rather than later.
The team have Dundee on Sunday and need to keep their domestic winning run going to stay top of the league.
