Aaron Ramsay Dismisses Celtic’s Glasgow Derby Victory

Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsay has branded Celtic’s comprehensive victory against his new club in the Glasgow Derby as a ‘little set back’. Dismissing the enormity if the result.

Ramsay joined the Ibrox club on deadline day and was in the stands at Celtic Park as the Hoops ran riot. Goals from Hatate [2] and Abada sealed an impressive victory for a side still in rebuild mode.

Speaking after both teams won convincingly at the weekend, the midfielder is shaking off the Celtic victory.

Ramsay apparently not paying attention to the fact his new club were six points clear at the winter break. So many ‘little setbacks’ since the restart has meant Celtic have clawed that deficit back and more.

It suits Celtic if Ramsay and the rest of his teammates want to underplay what happened at Celtic Park at the beginning of February.

Celtic are taking nothing for granted and are forging ahead knowing nothing has been won yet. No players have come out in the press and said anything of note. Ange has the whole team singing from the same hymn sheet.
