MARTIN O’NEILL has praised Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou for what he’s managed to achieve at Parkhead in such a short space of time.
The Celtic legend claims ‘it’s very difficult not to be impressed’ by the work the Australian has done to this point.
Taking Celtic from their knees back in the summer to the top of the league by February via a League Cup Final win is something we could have only dreamed of in the dark days of the lockdown season.

Speaking after the Glasgow Derby win last week, O’Neill says the team is night and day from when Ange took over to now and it’s all about keeping the juggernaut going and holding onto the top spot.

Martin has made his own history at Celtic but is now enjoying watching Celtic from afar with Ange at the helm.
There were huge question marks over the manager’s appointment back in the summer. All those noises have dissipated as Ange has carefully navigated very choppy waters.
It’s going to be an interesting title run-in.
