REO HATATE has been allocated the number 41 jersey, the number previously worn by John Kennedy and Darnell Fisher according to the Celtic online store.

The new signing, who was announced on the last day of 2021, has not been pictured with the Celtic jersey at the training ground, unlike his fellow countrymen who became Celtic players on the same day.
Hatate is a versatile player, who can play anywhere on the left side of the pitch as well as in midfield.
The player arrives at Celtic to add the quality depth and push for a starting place. Given the injuries inflicted onto the squad, he may be gifted a chance straight from the off.
With his number revealed, albeit unofficially, confirmation should not be too far away.
Interestingly, Hatate has never worn the number before, and more interestingly, according to Transfermarkt since the season 17/18 he has changed squad numbers every season. It will be intriguing to see if he continues this trend in Glasgow.
