Celtic Fans Flood Kyogo’s Social Media Feed

Celtic fans have tonight flooded Kyogo Furuhashi’s social media feed after Japan beat China 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

Kyogo started the match but went off injured looking in some discomfort just after half time.

Since the news broke on social media, Celtic fans are obviously concerned about the striker’s fitness ahead of Saturday’s game against Ross County.

After the game this evening, Kyogo tweeted out ‘great job team’ to his followers with no mention of his injury. It could be a good sign there’s no lasting damage if the player himself hasn’t posted anything to the contrary.

It hasn’t stopped Celtic fans from inundating the player with concerned messages below his tweet – clearly desperate for an update.

It’s tricky, some footballers outsource their social media feeds and this could have been a pre-arranged post on the assumption Japan won.

Celtic themselves are unlikely to know the extent of any injury until Kyogo’s back at Lennoxtown. Fingers crossed the striker is ok.
