Barry Coffey was sent out on a season long loan to Cork City in the summer and the Hoops midfielder has quickly made a name for himself.

Coffey has scored four goals in six for City and looks in the mood to get more.

The midfielder is playing for his next move in many ways. He will be hoping to keep grabbing the headlines to earn a new deal with Celtic. The player’s contract runs out at the end of the season.

Currently playing under former Celtic academy player, Colin Healy, Barry will try to help the club bounce back from relegation at the first time of trying.

If he can keep scoring, then he’ll be in a great position come the end of the year.

Usually Celtic would sign a player to a new deal before going out on loan – the club choosing not to could be telling. We will wait and see!
