Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has been rewarded for his resurgence in form this season with a call-up to the Australian National side.
As reported by Sun Sport, the 28-year old has been selected in Graham Arnold’s side, which includes the likes of former Celt Daniel Arzani and Hibs winger Martin Boyle, that will face China and Vietnam in the World Cup qualifiers next month.
With current restrictions, there was concern over whether Rogic would have to quarantine on his return. However, Postecoglou has received a boost, with Australia currently being on the Green travel list, which means that is not required.
The Socceroos midfielder has had an incredible upturn in form so far this season, under his former international boss, who knows him well from his time as Australia manager.
Many fans have enjoyed seeing the Rogic of old, who has given supporters so many great memories.
The international return is well deserved and hopefully a reward that makes sure the attacking midfielder continues to push himself and keep up the form we have seen this campaign.
