One of the biggest cheers of the night came, not from a goal but from the other end of the pitch.
Celtic were cruising to the next round of the Europa League and were in control of the game when Jablonec had a flurry of attacks.
Joe Hart, who had been quiet for most of the game was suddenly called into action and the new Celtic goalkeeper came up big!
The Englishman made two saves in quick succession that Celtic fans were used to seeing hit the back of the net. The second shot [which you can see below] was the more impressive of the two.
Joe saves a certain goal from point blank range and the roar of the crowd told you everything you needed to know.

Celtic fans were starved of a goalkeeper who could come up big in pivotal moments last season. Barkas and Bain both had their chance but couldn’t convince the support that either then deserved the gloves. Joe certainly made an impact on the game and the saves will have done his confidence wonders.
He did have a shaky moment towards the end when he got caught in possession. He will have to watch what he’s doing against stronger opposition.
Celtic ran out 3-0 winners on the night and 7-2 winners on aggregate. Not bad.
