According to reports this evening, Celtic are closing in on a deal for French striker Thomas Henry.
According to SunSport, the Hoops are inching closer to a deal that could be worth £7m!
This would signify a major outlay from the club weeks after signing Kyogo Furuhashi.
It would also be a major signal Celtic believe they’re close to selling Odsonne Edouard.
Henry, 26, currently plays in Belgium with OH Leuven and scored 21 goals in Belgium’s top flight last season.
At 6ft 4”, Thomas could offer a different option for Ange Postecoglou after he secured hat-trick hero Kyogo Furuhashi.
Celtic do need another striker if Eddy is to leave and the more fire power the better. Right now, Celtic fans will be hoping we’re close to more defensive reinforcements too.
