Chris Sutton Winds Up Ibrox Legend

CHRIS SUTTON is never too far away from winding someone up, and on Saturday, Ally McCoist was his target after the Ibrox club lost at Tannadice.

The former Celtic striker was in the mood to have a bit of a laugh with Ally after he looked a bit downbeat.

As quoted by SunSport, with a cheeky smile on his face he called Celtic’s city rivals complacent and Ally bit back.

Ally said said “I was not happy, I was not happy with.”

Sutton then cut in: “They were complacent weren’t they Ally?”

McCoist bit: “No they weren’t. They weren’t complacent, they just weren’t very good.”

Sutton replied: “It was complacency. We all saw it. It was the old Rangers, wasn’t it?”

Celtic have been given a major boost for their game against Dundee on Sunday afternoon, knowing they can go back on level terms with their title rivals even though they lost their first game away to Hearts last weekend.

The Hoops are still very much a work in progress but we can’t pass up this opportunity.

It’s early in the season, but if we are to have any chance of winning the league then we need to build pressure against our rivals and hope there are more complacent days to come.
