Celtic Set to Open Their Doors to Supporters After 16 Months

It might seem insignificant but Celtic opening their doors to fans today for the first time in 16 months is monumental.

The club will begin a revamped tour of the stadium which won’t involve being indoors but include an inventive and interactive tour.

The staff at Celtic have worked hard to produce a tour that will engage supporters and allow them to enter the stadium for the first time since March 2020.

This is the first step for the club in getting supporters back in full time for the games. If things run to the government’s schedule we could see a decent sized crowd at the Celtic home game against Midtjylland in the Champions League.

On August 9, the whole country is supposed to move to as close to normality as possible – at that time, full stadiums should be allowed.

Two years ago, nobody could have envisioned being locked out of Celtic Park for such a long period of time. A lot of us took it for granted over the years.

It will be fantastic to have a crowd back in the stadium and a fresh impetus to kick on and start winning again.
