Arsenal Linked with Surprising Move for Celtic Flop

English Premier League side Arsenal is being linked with a move for former Celtic loanee Jonjoe Kenny.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Kenny is being suggested as a possible target to replace Hector Bellerin, who could leave the Gunners this summer.

The Everton right-back spent the second half of last season on-loan at Celtic and was former manager Neil Lennon’s final signing at the club on Deadline Day of the January window.

To many, this link would come as a surprise after some of the 23-year olds performances in the Hoops last season.

Whilst he got off to an okay start to life in Glasgow, it slowly went downhill with some of his displays not impressing any fans. In particular, in fixtures against Glasgow rivals Rangers.

Funnily enough, if he were to make a move to London, it would mean both full-back position would be taken up by former Celts, with Kieran Tierney deploying the left-back positions.

Now that is a contrast in quality between two former Celtic players.
