Celtic Want Prolific Striker on Free Transfer

Celtic are likely to finally end their manager saga in the not too distant future and whatever scouts there are at the club, they’ve still been doing their job in the interim.

Identifying players for the youth team and the first team but nobody can properly be signed without the go ahead from a coach or DoF.

Sunderland Echo have reported Celtic are very keen on Charlie Wyke. The prolific striker’s contract with Sunderland has come to an end.

The 28-year-old has been offered terms on a new deal but has yet to commit to the English League club.

Wyke scored 30 goals and grabbed 5 assists in 53 appearances for the club last season.

Edouard is set to leave the Hoops this summer and Leigh Griffiths is going to be a free agent. Ajeti is our only first team striker after that.
