Green Brigade Own Goal?

Over the past three days, the Green Brigade have protested their frustrations outside Celtic Park with banners against the board.

These banners have included Peter Lawwell, Dermot Desmond and Ian Bankier, with the number of days it has been since the club has been without a permanent first-team manager.

Today, it was the turn of incoming CEO Dominic McKay.

Posted on the North Curve Twitter account, it has had some mixed reviews from some supporters.

Many people have agreed with certain parts of their recent protest outside Celtic Park in the last couple of days, and the frustration against the current board, not as many seem to agree with this one.

McKay is coming in to replace the outgoing Peter Lawwell. Whilst he joined the club early to get an inside view of the currently ongoing, he doesn’t officially begin his job as the club’s new CEO until the 1st of July.

He certainly has a big job on his hands, especially to improve the relationship between the club and the fans, and you would hope he has begun some of his early work in recent weeks.
