Ange Postecoglou has come from absolutely nowhere in the past 24 hours and is now in serious contention for the Celtic role according to Telegraph journalist John Percy.
Celtic were geared up for an Eddie Howe appointment until Thursday when Eddie dropped his bombshell. The Englishman declined the role on the grounds he couldn’t convince his staff to move north of the border.
The club have since told CeltsAreHere.com they’re in advanced negotiations with another candidate. Whether that candidate is Ange Postecoglou remains to be seen.
However, if it is him, he will come into the job a major unknown by the majority of the support. Having managed in Australia most of his career then Japan more recently.
Ange is the former Australia boss and has won the Asian Cup with his country.
The manager has also won the A-League as well as the J-League in his career to date.
We have to admit, he’s not a name that has even come on our radar before today and if Celtic are looking at the manager, ESPN pundit Mike Wise claims he has the potential to rock our world.
Absolutely loving it that Celtic fans have no idea who Ange Postecoglou is. He's gonna rock their world.

Celtic fans are rightly going to be very wary of an unknown coming to the club on short notice after the Howe debacle. The Hoops support want box office and for the bar to be brought back up to the standards set by Brendan Rodgers.
Right now, this board are acting like the Kelly’s in their complete and utter ineptitude to get Celtic back on track.
