Celtic and Glasgow derby rivals Rangers could both be set to play at home on the same say for the first time in 25 years.
With Celtic announcing their latest pre-season plans, it includes a fixture against Preston North End at Celtic Park – 5:30 PM kick-off time on the 17th of July.
This also coincides with Rangers home pre-season fixture against Arsenal, with a slightly different kick-off time starting at 3 PM.
As reported by the Daily Record, as restrictions ease, both clubs will be hoping that supporters will be returning to grounds by this point. Of course, it is unknown at this stage how many people will be allowed in stadiums, however, it would leave the Police with the prospect of both teams playing on the same day, against different opposition at home in 25 years.
Celtic fans such as myself are desperate to get back inside Paradise, but if the Police are to allow the two games to take place on the same day you would think it would be very restricted crowds in terms of numbers that day.
