Edouard was denied a stunning send off when Willie Collum blew his whistle as the Frenchman blasted a free kick into the top corner of the Hibs net.

The Frenchman was kept quiet for most of the game and when John Kennedy called his number, Eddy made his way off the pitch with many Celtic fans acknowledging it’s likely to be his last appearance in a Celtic jersey.

Supporters took to social media to thank Eddy for his time at the club.

Edouard has one year left of his Celtic deal but it’s expected Celtic will cash in on the striker if the right offer comes in.

The striker has been linked with a lot of clubs with the most prevalent link being the one with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester. The former Celtic manager apparently wants the frontman in the EPL with him next season.

Any club that do want Edouard will have to pay a decent amount of cash.
