Celtic Set to Announce Pre-Season Tie With EPL Side

We don’t have a manager announced yet but plans are starting to be made for pre-season already.

RecordSport report David Moyes will bring his West Ham side to Glasgow in July for a friendly before the new season begins.

It could be one of the first times we see the new man in charge, whoever that may be come July.

Celtic fans are waiting on white smoke but all we got on Friday was a statement saying very little.

Celtic will also have a Champions League qualifier in late July, the first competitive game of the season. We will be going the non-Champions route and will face much harder opposition. Considering we have fell to relative minnows in previous campaigns, it doesn’t bode well for next season.

Celtic must look to advance as far as possible but Europa League might be our limit.

The friendly is supposed to be pencilled in for July 24, the weekend in between two Champions league qualifiers. Make of that what you will.
