Duncan Castles has claimed on his recent Transfer Podcast that Celtic have indeed approached Jose Mourinho about the vacant Celtic Park role.
Castles, who has a lot of sources in the world of football claimed Celtic were the first club to contact the Mourinho camp after he was sacked by Spurs this week.
Mourinho and Celtic have a storied past and having him at Celtic just seems absolutely ridiculous.

If Castles sources are correct then it’s more worrying for me that Celtic are still reaching out to candidates and don’t have a preferred option.
We have heard all about the Eddie Howe link that’s not been delivered to this point.
The more positive Celtic fans have believed to this point that the club are doing their utmost behind the scenes to get a manager in place for the summer.
However, if they’re floating an idea by Jose Mourinho two months after Neil Lennon has left the building, it doesn’t bode well for us at all.
