Jordan Larsson’s ‘Dream’ Celtic Move – Striker Attracting Interest Elsewhere

Jordan Larsson, son of legendary Parkhead striker Henrik Larsson is attracting major interest among clubs in Europe.

RecordSport have reported the 23-year-old could be available this summer and is being scouted by a number of teams with Dortmund and West Ham eyeing a summer move for the player.

I’ve never been a proponent of bringing young Jordan in because of the name he would need to live up to.

Everything the striker did as a Celtic player would be compared to his dad which wouldn’t be fair.

However, if it isn’t because of who Jordan’s dad is and he actually was looked at as a viable option on merit, it could change my mind.

The young striker has scored 12 goals in 23 league starts for Spartak Moscow this term and has a growing reputation in the game.

It’s also safe to say Jordan is a Celtic fan and has a love of the club growing up watching his dad in the hoops.

Speaking back in December Jordan told RecordSport:

“For me, Celtic will always have a special place in my heart.

“Not that I’ve played there in that sense, but it was the first place where I saw football as a young kid going with my mother to see games when my father was playing.

“It could be something to look at further down the line.

“That’s where I have the biggest memories in my head.

“‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ you have all the scarves before the games and everything so of course it will always have a special place in my heart.

It could be something to look at further down the line for sure and the bhoy certainly has a good head on his shoulders.
