It’s been the only story of the past 72 hours but if you’ve been following the Eddie Howe to Celtic story, then you’re about to be rewarded.
SunSport have reported overnight Howe has agreed to take the Celtic job in principle and he and the club are close to signing a deal which will see him unveiled in time BEFORE season ticket renewals come out.
The forms will be sent to fans in a matter of weeks and the big question was it Celtic could deliver an exciting manager that would see supporters renew even though there’s no guarantee fans will be into stadiums before the end of the year.
Howe has turned down two EPL jobs to say yes to Celtic and appears hungry to deliver success to the club next season.
Like everything, until the deal is signed and it’s confirmed there’s always the chance of either party walking away but as the hours move on, the deal looks like it will happen.
