Chris Sutton sent mixed messages about Eddie Howe’s potential Celtic appointment during his appearance on BT Sport.

The former Celtic striker seemed enthused his former club look likely to landed Eddie Howe for next season but did provide the caveat this job is so much bigger than anything Eddie has take on before.

The video above has Sutton telling McCoist he’s fearing the new Celtic appointment and Eddie could be the key to a new title winning run.

Celtic have not turned up this season and have provided no real test to a club who find comfort in not playing in front of their support.

If Eddie takes charge and fans can get back into the grounds, it will mean a Celtic have a good momentum heading into next seasons

Hopefully the deal gets over the line in the coming days and Celtic fans can start to looking forward to next season.
