JOHN KENNEDY has confirmed his international Celts have a clean bill of health as they all start to head back to Lennoxtown to prepare for Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie.
However, John did make a point of saying some of his stars got extra game time the club weren’t really too happy about.

Ultimately, clubs can’t control how international players are used once they are released into their countries setup. However, they can ask for certain players not to be overused for fear of injury, fatigue etc, especially when there are only friendlies being played.
It’s been the age-old battle and while John seems irked some of his players were overused during the international break, there’s nothing much we can do about it.
The interim Celtic boss must make the most of his squad and ensure a safe passage through to the next round of the Scottish Cup. Our season has been a disaster and an exit at this point would only further compound our sorrows. Let’s hope the team can get it together and give us something to cheer about.
On the injury front, James Forrest has been confirmed as ‘good to go’ and could start his first game since September.

James has been brought back tentatively after a long term injury but he could be the spark against Falkirk.
