Scott Brown officially confirmed his Celtic departure at the end of May when he signed a two-year deal with Aberdeen.
It had been rumoured for the past week but it was only today his decision was confirmed but only after the captain travelled to Aberdeen to finalise the move.
An image of Scott in plain clothes walking out of the Aberdeen training facilities has emerged and it’s a sore one for Celtic supporters who are trying to adjust to the news.
Many will find it very jarring next season when Broony pulls on the Red of Aberdeen and comes up against the green and white hoops.
The last game he played against Celtic before coming to the club, the player scored.
We hope he won’t have as much success the next time he comes up against the club.
The Broony farewell tour begins now and it’s such a shame that fans aren’t inside stadiums.
I’m sure the Celtic support and more notable the Green Brigade will have something up their sleeves to give the legendary captain some sort of send off.
