CELTIC are taking on Ross County this evening with Scott Bain in goals, however, our very expensive summer signing is nowhere to be seen.

Vasilis Barkas has not made the squad for tonight’s game and Conor Hazard is the backup.

Fans on social media have been wondering what’s happened to the Greek keeper and if he has suffered an injury.

We should hopefully find out in due course. It’s been a frustrating season for the goalkeeping situation. All three goalkeepers have had periods in the team and all had their bad moments.

Barkas has never settled and Neil Lennon appears to have given up on the stopper at this point. Going for Bain until the end of the season appears to be the Hoops gaffer’s preference.

It’s a position which needs to be solved in time for the start of next season, we will win nothing again next term if we don’t have a settled, confident and talented goalkeeper.
