Resurgent Rogic Scores For Country

Tom Rogic made his return for the Socceroos today for the first time in over a year against Bangladesh.

The Celtic player who has been plagued with injury is just starting to get his chance under Ronny Deila and has proved an asset in the games he has started so far this season scoring twice.

Today he managed to get on the score-sheet as the Australian National side hammered Bangladesh 5-0 in a great display of attacking football.

It was 4-0 inside the first 30 minutes as the home side surged out of the blocks to ignite the crowd of 19,495.

From the edge of the box, the midfielder tooj one touch to control before lashing a shot past Bangladesh goalkeeper Sahidul Alam.

Rogic was initially credited with a brace but his second goal took a big deflection on the way in and eventually went down as an own goal.

The playmaker was on great form and we hope he can continue to impress for club and country this season.
