There’s been a slight hitch in the reporting of a Ben Davies to Celtic on a pre-contrast with Alison Conroy, a journalist who is close to Celtic sources, claiming the deal isn’t quite done yet.

However, it appears as if the deal isn’t ready to be announced yet when Alison has reached out to her Celtic sources they seem to have made it clear there’s a bit to go.

Sky Sports will likely be be getting their information from Preston and their contexts down south. It’s conceivable someone at the club has told the broadcaster Davies had agreed a deal even if it wasn’t completely over the line.

The deal is still expected to go through but we might need to wait a bit longer for that to happen.
