JEREMIE FRIMPONG is on the verge of leaving Celtic after Neil Lennon confirmed the player wanted a move away.

While he wouldn’t disclose the name of the club Jeremie is currently in talks with, the Celtic manager seems pretty confident the player is off.

This would end a shambolic January where the club have done nothing to improve our situation and have sat on their hands while we have moved from one debacle to the next.

Jeremie came in two summers ago and was a breath of fresh air, lately, he like many of his teammates have been suffering on the pitch and have not been at their best.

This leaves a huge gap in our defence with very little time to find a replacement.

We will work hard over the coming hours to find out the club and the subsequent fee but right now, it looks as if we’ve seen Frimpong in a Celtic jersey for the last time.
