New government guidelines tonight have asked anyone who has come back from Dubai since Jan 3rd to isolate for ten days and and anyone who comes back from Dubai after 4am to do the same.
This would put Celtic in the cross hairs if they weren’t in an elite sporting bubble.
Our understanding of the rules, given they were granted permission to go to Dubai by ScotGov, it shouldn’t affect Celtic.
However, all bets are off this year and you just never know when we’re going to be used as a political example.

Media men are asking if this will affect the club. There’s just no telling in this day and age what’s ok and what isn’t.
We will seek clarification on the issue, given Celtic are set to play Hibernian Monday evening, there’s not a lot of time between now and then for lingering issues.
Celtic have confirmed a fresh positive test and the first ever positive test to come from the Celtic camp as opposed to players catching it on international duty.
The news just further brings it home how silly this whole Dubai trip was.
