Malmo Goalkeeper Johan Wiland hit out at Celtic for being “pigs” and accused Leigh Griffiths and his teammates of acting like kids.
“Leigh Griffiths [who scored twice for Celtic], well, I don’t know what to say, he behaved like a child, tugging shirts all the time.” said the Goalkeeper.
The Malmo keeper obviously choosing to be very selective of how some other players on the field acted towards the home team.
Celtic will take a 3-2 lead to Sweden next week but Malmo seem to be do all the talking and are acting like they have this tie in in the bag.
Their manager Åge Hareide also spoke about the Celtic players fitness, branding them ‘unfit’ and declaring their side are favourites for the return leg.
Celtic boss, Ronny Deila refused to be dragged into a verbal spat with his Malmo counterpart and while the late goal was “irritating” his side are still in the drivers seat no matter what Malmo have to say about it.
