Celtic Braced for £12m January Transfer Raid: Bidding War?

Celtic are braced for a £12m bid for one of their star players in January according to top Euro Journo Rob Bairner.

Goal.com and reports on France are confidence Nice are about to try and raid the Scottish Champions for Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.

Celtic are open for business for the right price with the clubs accounts this year showing the need for player sales to balance the books going forward.

Ajer will be in the last 18 months of his deal in January and would likely command the biggest fee possible in the next window rather than the summer.

It could be a case of Celtic can’t afford to sell him but also can’t afford to keep him.

Ajer could be a big piece of the puzzle in a Celtic fight back with the player shifted out to right-back and playing well in the last two games.

Milan have been interested in the Norwegian for some time and could be promoted into a bidding war with the French side if Nice try to get a jump on the defender.
