This comes just days after their last meeting with one and other which saw the Celtic board giving the Northern Irishman their ‘full support’
Of course, things have changed since then with the awful result against Premiership strugglers Ross County, who have barely won a game since September, with the Staggies last four victories all coming against lower league opposition before yesterday.
The Celtic board may have given Lennon their full backing on Friday but this feels like it will be a step too far for him to stay in his position as manager.
I am sure there will be developments later in the day, as these supposed talks progress, with a final decision hopefully coming at some point.
